Discover the two projects we developed in Vietnam

Children are our future and the future starts with proper access to education ! Having proper access to schooling ensures that children enter the education system, and benefit from appropriate care and nutrition, giving them a better chance to succeed in life!

  • Each year, Lyreco For Education supports a project in a different country
  • We carefully select and support a non government organisation (NGO) fully dedicated to that cause.

Together with our employees

All over the world, we let the freedom to our employees to organise internal events for Lyreco For Education. With great enthusiasm, our employees involve themselves concretely in this fascinating project and set numerous fund-raising actions throughout the year.

About CARE

CARE is an international NGO focused on fighting global poverty and defending dignity and belongs to the ten biggest NGO specialised in International Solidarity.

In 2010, Lyreco For Education supports the education of children in Brazil. Lyreco For Education partners with CARE to develop the "Duque de Caxias" project in Rio de Janeiro.

    Duque de Caxias is a suburb which suffers from:

  • Significant problems of violence,
  • Very high absenteeism and drop-out rates in school.

Objective

To create an "Educating Community" which brings together schools, community organisations and children.

Programme

To encourage young people themselves to act as volunteer agents for change within their own communities.

In total, we strive to raise enough money to support 5 primary school and 5 nursery schools and to therefore help 3000 children.
